ATC Sunday - February 2008 ATC Sunday was a parade to celebrate 67 years of the Air Training Corps. Air cadets from Wellingborough and Northampton accompanied by the Northampton marching band were involved in the parade. The parade started at market square and finished at all saints church marking our 67th anniversary. Dining in Night - February 2008 378 squadron annually attend a formal military dinner. This time it is used for staff, NCO's and cadets to socialize in a more relaxed environment. All cadets and staff attended including higher dignitaries. The Commanding Officer takes this opportunity to reflect the previous years achievements and what he expects for the following year. The cadets will also get the opportunity to take part in a traditional passing of the port as cadets and staff toast the Queen, the Corps and Mannock. Then take part in a disco. Hawk Flight for Award Winning - February 2008 Award winning air cadet Sergeant Adam Hill, 17, has experienced the thrill of flying a fast jet with the Royal Navy after being named as the best cadet in Wellingborough for 2007. Adam was treated to an 80 minute flight in a Hawk jet which included formation flying and aerobatics. |
